Are You Democrat or Republican?

Remember: Humans are not your enemy. Regardless of who they are, what they stand for or against, what color they are, what their political or religious convictions are or what their lifestyle is. 

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the SPIRITUAL forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
[Ephesians 6:12 NASB]

That is why the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the "Good News". When we surrender our lives to Christ, we are given authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). "If God is for me, who can be against me?!" (Romana 8:31) "It's no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me." (Galatians 2:20).

In Christ, we are no longer victims or sitting ducks to demonic powers but are the enemy's biggest fear. But don't take this lightly. We are at war and we have a formidable foe who is calculated, patient and literally hell-bent to "steal, kill and destroy" your life. Our victory is very secure, but only through Christ Jesus. We can't conquer sin and the enemy but Christ in us can!

Therefore, abide in Him and keep His Word abiding in your heart continually. And remember, if you're a disciple of Christ, this is not your home - your citizenship is in heaven! So don't get too wrapped up in earthly affairs - this is only temporary! Make sure you’re spending more time in prayer and the study of the Bible, HIS Word, than you are watching/reading/listening to political/current events.
